Discover our houses. REDUKT PURA part 3

Imagine a tiny house gracefully standing among whispering trees or on the shore of a lake with water reflections dancing on the facade or on a snow-covered slope in the mountains…

Enabling the residents to experience immersion in nature was the inspiration for the new house model, which was created in our workshop in the last winter months.

REDUKT PURA – the ground floor version

The house REDUKT PURA_1Level is the third model in the REDUKT PURA family and, unlike the two previous models (REDUKT PURA with ladder, REDUKT PURA with stairs), it is a ground floor house – it does not have a mezzanine. Its shape refers to the classic shape of a house with a gable roof, easily blending into the surrounding landscape. The functional, ground floor layout with a huge window next to the bed is a response to the idea of completely opening the home space to experiencing nature.

Simplicity and minimalism

The interior of the REDUKT PURA_1Level house is characterized by simplicity, functionality, and clean lines of minimalist design. Sunlight streams in through the double panes of the flush opening doors, providing ample natural light. The large asymmetrical window, which replicates the shape of the roof, is the most distinctive feature of this model.

Lying on a comfortable double bed placed just below the window, we can freely gaze at the landscape outside. After outdoor activities, we prioritize high-quality sleep and lazy mornings with breakfast in bed, in accordance with our biological clock. This is our time to rest and recharge.

How relaxing it would be… waking up on a crisp Sunday morning with a view of a wild meadow surrounded by forest and catching a glimpse of a curious deer peeking out from behind a tree outside your window? The house is equipped for comfortable year-round use and serves as a refuge for all four seasons.

Rest zone

At the head of the bed, there is a practical shelf with a storage compartment. Above it hang twin wall lamps that create a cozy atmosphere during quiet evenings with a book. The rest zone extends deep into the house in the form of an L-shaped sofa adjacent to the bed. As a result, the house's small footprint offers a functionally designed space for typical activities: relaxing, cooking, eating, and sleeping.

On the other side of the living space, the kitchen invites you to take a moment to make coffee or prepare a meal. It is equipped with standard built-ins, including a kitchen top with an induction hob, a sink, a refrigerator, and storage bins. Capacious cabinets with shelves and drawers provide ample storage space.

Practical equipment

Opposite the kitchen is a small wardrobe that offers additional storage space. The closet is a vertical cabinet combined with a practical hanger for outerwear and shelves for shoes.

A light sliding door made of plywood, the same material as the walls, separates the kitchen from the entrance to the house. The bathroom behind the door features a full-size shower with a rain shower head, a sink with a cabinet and a toilet. Behind it is the engineering room, the technical heart of the house, also available in a full off-grid package.

In harmony with nature

The natural plywood furniture creates a luminous and spacious interior, while the addition of black details and trim adds a versatile and modern touch. The dark facade boards covering the exterior walls accentuate the color scheme of the house's interior. The impregnating glaze for spruce boards is available in various shades, allowing you to customize the facade and the area around your house to your liking.

Building a Tiny House – from idea to finished product

Constructing a standard brick house is a complex, multi-stage and time-consuming process. Many people associate home ownership with numerous delays and unforeseen additional costs due to complicated formal procedures, involvement of a team of professionals, and lengthy implementation. This can make it difficult to accurately estimate the final budget.

However, owning a tiny house on wheels offers a simpler process.  A small house on wheels can be built in just 2 to 3 months, with a base in the form of a trailer, minimal paperwork and pre-set costs. The process from design selection to final key handover takes an average of 10 weeks.

You can choose a house from our standard offer, which is immediately ready for production. Alternatively, you can choose a personalized version with the option to make small finishing changes. If you prefer, we can design a house from scratch according to your individual preferences. Please note that the design process for a custom house takes an additional two months and incurs an extra fee.

The process of building a house in our workshop consists of several stages:

  • preparation of a trailer with EU approval for transporting cargo with a maximum weight of 3.5 tons. Its length is from 6 to 7.2 meters, chosen optimally for the project, so that the cargo (the house) fits within the allowed weight,

  • execution of the wooden structure of the house (outer walls, roof, mezzanine – if planned), i.e. the skeleton; here the house takes the designed form,

  • installation of an interior vapor barrier film and finish plywood on the walls,

  • implementation of internal installations: plumbing, electrical, ventilation and off-grid equipment,

  • installation of the main equipment in the technical room,

  • thermal insulation of the structure, that is completing the skeleton with wall and roof cladding with a theminsulator in the form of mineral wool, sheep's wool or wood fiber, and then covering the entire body of the house with a membrane with high diffusion openness,

  • installation of windows and doors including flashing of openings,

  • installation of facade boards,

  • finishing of the roof, in our houses it is mostly trapezoidal sheet metal roofing, along with installation of its drainage,

  • installation of furniture, electrical fixtures and lamps,

We complete the construction phase with the commissioning of all installations and the technical inspection. Once the acceptance is approved, the house on wheels is ready to go, on its own wheels or by truck to the address you specify.

In 12 weeks, at a predetermined price for the chosen model of the house, you own it and can spend the first night in it :-)  It's that simple!

3 months, a piece of land and a tractor

3 months, a piece of land and a tractor. That's more or less enough to start a hotel business based on REDUKT Tiny Houses mobile home rental.

However:

1. 3 months a REDUKT Tiny House is built according to the specifications prepared in advance, with the possibility of adjusting some elements to individual preferences. We are not able to change everything. We are limited by the weight (3.5 tons), the dimensions of the cargo and the need to maintain correct mobility. The house is delivered to the specified address with full furnishings and equipment.

2. an interesting location is necessary, ensuring, on the one hand, close contact with nature, but on the other - safety. Guests may have a problem with staying in a completely remote area. You don't need much flat land: 10x5m is completely sufficient for the foundation of the house with an added terrace and space for barbecue and/or bonfire. Most importantly: you don't need to own the land, in a business model a lease with rent dependent on a percentage of the rental income works great.

3. utilities, or rather the lack of them, are not a problem! Our houses are equipped with off-grid packages, which enable the use of a 400l water tank equipped with an antifreeze installation, waterless composting toilets, a photovoltaic installation with an integrated battery and inverter, a gas installation with an externally located cylinder for water heating, cooking and heating, wood stove for warmth and a unique atmosphere at the same time. Of course, access to electricity or water will increase the comfort and ease of daily use.

4. tractor: yes, it is often needed, on the last straight (curve) of the towing process :) ...to reach a place where nothing disturbs the view.

A weekend in a house with a usable area of 14 sq m - is it worth a try?

If you are wondering what kind of experience it is to drastically reduce your living space and at the same time escape from many restrictions, here are some hints.

ADVANTAGES:

 - direct contact with nature within 5 steps after waking up. The same as when staying in a tent, but with a specific shelter for all weather conditions and in a LUX version of camping conditions,

- everyday comfort "like at home": own bathroom and hot shower, kitchen, large comfortable bed, but at the same time, forced by staying in a small space, experience that limits and values the things we need,

- our REDUKT Tiny Houses mobile houses for rent are well-equipped by the operators/owners and all your daily needs are provided on site (kitchenware, bathroom, etc.), e.g. Bento Houses or Raus, you can spontaneously escape to the forest without thinking about packing for 3 days or 3 hours,

- spending time actually outside: on the terrace, by the fire, walking around the house; small space pushes out the "lazy homebody" out of us,

 - they are located in silence and seclusion, which is conducive to naturally enter a state of rest and focus on the moment.

DISADVANTAGES:

- these are year-round houses, but their thermal insulation is more delicate. For complete, non-engaging comfort, it is worth choosing those with air conditioning - heating/cooling. However, adding wood to the stove at 3 am has a unique charm ;)

Photo: REDUKT

- in the case of off-grid houses, we carefully manage the utilities that cannot be missing. It can be tiring, but at the same time we recognize how brash we are about the water, electricity, heat or cooling we use, despite the broad talk about the climate and resource crisis,

- for 4 people, even 4-person houses are already a higher test of friendship. Due to the small footprint, it can comfortably accommodate a couple or possibly a family with small children,

- for a longer stay, keeping such a small house clean requires a scout drill.

The city makes you forget how good you feel outside it. A weekend in nature is addictive.

In a search of a mind&body retreat - one model but two different cabins to experience the autumn mood palette.

REDUKT Tiny Houses is one of the first manufacturers of tiny houses on wheels in Europe. Since 2017, when the first prototype was created, it has been following the changes in the small mobile house market and the evolving trends in which their customers operate. The company's mission was to respond to the need for an alternative lifestyle and to have a home that enables people to follow their dreams, to be in constant motion with their home, in line with the need for freedom of its inhabitants. The focus was on the individual customer, for whom each home was tailor-made and customized.

Nowadays, we are increasingly focusing on the needs of alternative hotel and hospitality businesses. We have started working with operators and land owners with high environmental values.  The need for contact with nature, the ease with which we can recharge our batteries while walking among the trees or admiring the sunset over a sheet of water, has been recognized by the alternative hotel business, which is locating tiny houses on wheels in naturally attractive addresses close to major cities.  We put our efforts into designing houses that will take care of guests who rent them for short stays, seeking respite from the busy pace of life and the hustle and bustle of cities - teach them to take a deeper breath and enhance their well-being.

The REDUKT Country house is perfect for this role, which, despite its 15m2 of usable space, provides full comfort. Its flexible design allows for a number of arrangements to fully match the expectations of guests and reveal a different atmosphere of spending leisure time.

For the hospitality & hotel business located near Warsaw, REDUKT Country houses were made in two color schemes, capturing the charm of the autumn foliage.

The light natural poplar plywood of the first house (most often chosen by REDUKT houses clients) gives the interior a light and airy feel. It is ascetic and quiet with respect for the natural colors of the finishing materials. Contrasting black details harmonize with the dark facade. The color of the darkened spruce facade boards blends the blocks into the light-shadow play of the forest in which they are immersed.

The darkened plywood of the interior of the second house highlights the natural grain of the wood and gives the interior a sensual and cozy feel.

The play of the sun reflected in the sheet of water emphasizes the wavy grain pattern of the walls bringing the organic lines of nature to the center of the geometric body of the house. The smoky, warm atmosphere of the house harmonizes with the natural flame in the free-standing wood stove, allowing you to blissfully enter into a reset of mind and body.

The heart of the house is a king bed that will encourage you to relax with your eyes wandering among the treetops. Underneath it are spacious drawers.

The living area also includes a fully equipped kitchen with a wide worktop, sink, two-burner electric stove and refrigerator. It houses everything you need to enjoy time spent cooking in the rhythm of slow life. An extension of this zone is a mobile table, which can be set next to the bed, but also outside, enjoying morning coffee on the terrace.

The bathroom area at the end of the house is separated by a light sliding door made of the same poplar plywood used to finish the walls.  Despite its small size, it is equipped with a full-size shower with a rain shower head, a sink with a cabinet and a toilet (here with a connection to the sewage system). Entering the bathroom, one is greeted by a view of greenery framed by a window placed over the sink opposite the entrance.

The Country House, like all REDUKT houses, is based on a timber frame structure filled with thermal insulation, which, with a properly selected heating system, provides year-round thermal comfort (infrared floor foils, a free-standing wood-burning stove and AC for heating and cooling). Wood is a key component because of its lightness, strength and renewability as a building material. Aluminum double-pane windows assuring thermal comfort make it possible to maintain the maximum allowable weight of 3.5 tons. Top-quality TYVEC membranes, steel roofing and oiled spruce planking complete the external partitions, giving a lifespan identical to that of regular frame houses.

Reading in bed, singing in the shower, eating a freshly cooked homemade dinner or sleeping with the moonlight on your face, it's hard to believe that 15 m2 was enough for the full comfort of this house.

Thermal comfort in TH in winter

Resting in nature in a small wooden house we intuitively associate with the warm months of the year. And yet the need to relax and spend time away from the hustle and bustle of the city is present in us constantly. Thanks to it, we take care of our well-being and peace of mind. In winter, when the days are colder and darkness falls after working hours, we need frequent "battery recharging" even more. A weekend at a small house, among colorful leaves in the woods or on a hill covered with white powder can be our time to seek balance and energy for the week ahead.

The colder months are, of course, more demanding in terms of maintaining thermal comfort inside a house on wheels. REDUKT houses, however, are designed for year-round use. Learn about our ways to maintain year-round thermal comfort in houses on wheels.

Photo: REDUKT

Thermal insulation

The basic form of thermal insulation is provided at the construction stage of the house. In our houses we have opted for diffusion-open, "breathable" walls. We fill the walls with wood fiber, mineral wool or sheep wool. These types of insulators prevent the accumulation of moisture inside the house, creating a healthy and friendly microclimate for the residents.

Double glazing

Thermal comfort in the colder months of the year is ensured not only by good wall and roof insulation. A major role is also played by double-glazed windows and doors, which, despite their relatively large surface area, protect the interior from cooling. And at the same time they make it possible to admire winter paintings on glass.

Heating

Depending on the customer's preferences and needs, houses can be equipped with the following forms of interior heating:

- IR (infra-red) heating foils in the floor,

- electric or gas heaters,

- air conditioner with heating function,

- wood burning stove.

Thermal comfort in REDUKT tiny houses in winter

Photo: REDUKT

The foils and air conditioning can be controlled remotely via WIFI. This makes it possible, among other things, to heat up in the house before arrival or to ensure constant comfort by automatically turning on the heating at a set temperature.

An addition to the houses’ interiors that gives them a cozy character is a wood stove. It is a source of heat that takes care of the comfort of body and spirit in the colder evenings and warms up the atmosphere inside the house, even when the wind is blowing outside. Nothing soothes the senses better than the sight of a cheerful living flame in the stove... :)

When designing REDUKT houses, we take special care of the well-being of those using them both as permanent housing and as temporary residences. We want to make staying in them comfortable regardless of the season and weather.

Preparation for winter in TH

Winter comes with many challenges - tiny houses on wheels require special protection in the fall and winter season. Both off-grid houses and houses connected to the media on the plot should be equipped with systems that protect them against the negative effects of temperature drops. Prepare your house for winter early enough to avoid unpleasant consequences.

Here are the 5 most important steps:

1. Check the stove and the chimney

Before the first freeze of the season check the condition of the wood burning stove. Make sure that the chimney is clear of any buildup. A dirty chimney can be a fire hazard, so you might hire a sweep to ensure it’s clear. If necessary, also service the HVAC system (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning system). Replace the furnace filter or schedule a service appointment so that your heating system is ready to use before you need it.

Tips for preparation for winter in tiny houses

Photo: REDUKT

It is also a good idea to prepare a supply of wood, especially if the wood burning stove will be the main source of heat on cold, long evenings. Stoves in tiny houses might need small size logs. The sight of a live fire in the stove and the smell of wood will certainly create a cozy atmosphere so that you can enjoy the winter views outside the window with a cup of hot tea in your hand.

2. Clean the gutters

Gutters collect and carry away rainwater and melting snow away from the roof to prevent water from seeping in and causing damage. However, gutters can’t do this very important job when they’re clogged with dead leaves and other debris. So step up on a ladder and make sure your gutters are clear before the first snowfall.

Tips for preparation for winter in tiny houses

Photo: REDUKT

3. Prepare snow removal tools

Before there is even a single flake in the forecast, make sure that all of your snow removal tools, including shovels and de-icing agents for downpipes, are ready to use. Having an anti-freezing installation in downpipes helps but still needs some care. Shovel your roof to reduce the burden of snow and ice and protect your gutters. This might be a small task on your winterizing list, but it’s an important one.

4. Be sure that the anti freezing water installation is turned on

REDUKT houses are equipped in anti-freezing water installation to protect water pipes, valves and a tank from damages. Heating cables in gutters are also an additional option. This is our “winter package”. The system turns on automatically when the temperature drops below the temperature set on the controller. Check if the system is connected to the network and if the appropriate activation temperature has been set.

Additionally, for houses that are not used in winter:

5. Drain the water from the water installation

If your house is used only as a summer residence and you won’t use it in winter, be sure to drain the water from the water installation before the temperature drops below zero. The excessive water pressure may exceed the pipes' structural capacity to withstand force, leading to a sudden burst.
If you have an off-grid house equipped with a water tank, empty it along with the entire installation.

Tips for preparation for winter in tiny houses, tech room and water instalation

Photo: REDUKT

The consequences of low temperatures if the house is not properly prepared before the winter season can cost a lot. Following the above steps will allow you to use your tiny house and enjoy the charms of winter, without having to worry about its condition during the cold period.

Discover our houses. REDUKT PURA part 2

When designing REDUKT tiny houses, we want to reinterpret housing itself and what a place to live is. We are considering how to reduce our impact on the environment and gently become part of it. We dream of being able to live in a place we have spontaneously come to love and find the balance of daily life there.

That's what a couple from Vienna was looking for as well when they ordered a REDUKT PURA mobile house from us.

Mobility is the key

Their plot of land in the south of Austria offers a beautiful view of the surrounding hills, but building a house on it would have been time-consuming and expensive. As the hosts are open to changes, they decided to buy a house on wheels where mobility is an additional advantage. This flexibility in choosing where to live opens up new opportunities and new window frames for the future.

Tiny house with off-grid package

The house had to be energy self-sufficient, leave the smallest possible carbon footprint and provide a healthy microclimate for the homeowners. Taking on the first challenge, we equipped it with a full off-grid package, including:

- a comprehensive Victron Energy solar power system with solar panels on the roof and an inverter, generating electricity that is stored in a battery,

- a 400-liter water tank with filters, providing bathroom and kitchen facilities,

- a dry composting toilet that does not need to be connected to the sewer system,

- a gas water heater, conveniently providing hot water for showering at any time of the day or night,

- wood stove - an extremely effective and at the same time sensual source of heat that warms you up on cold evenings.

Photo: REDUKT

The efficiency of the solar system allows the lighting installation in a typical 230V system, supportingly infrared heating floor foils for an extra comfort and a full-size under-counter refrigerator in the kitchen.

The PURA house was designed with a large technical room under the lowered mezzanine, where all technical devices are located, along with the sensors controlling them, acting as a cockpit but with autopilot on ;)

The house remains easy to operate, while providing its owners the comfort of staying all year round on the plot without access to any utilities.

Alternative housing

The second theme – healthy alternative construction – is embedded in the DNA of the REDUKT brand. Our houses are built using timber construction; here we filled the certified spruce timber frame with our favorite material – sheep wool. It is not only an effective insulator, but also breaks down pollutants and odors, dampens noise and regulates moisture by absorbing or releasing it, being a natural air conditioner. It is also 100% renewable and compostable.

Mobile tiny house on wheels REDUKT PURA

The house's interior walls are finished with poplar plywood and treated with hard oil wax based on renewable natural raw materials. They remain open diffusively, which allows the interior to "breathe".

The aesthetics of the interior are complemented by noble natural oak flooring and plywood furniture in contrasting colors, essential to the full functionality of the space we designed down to the last detail.

Interior of the house

PURA house always welcomes with:

- a spacious living area, open to the surrounding landscape through the glazings, where you can sit on fold-out corner sofa,

- a functional kitchenette,

- a bedroom on a mezzanine with a skylight window,

- a comfortable bathroom with a shower.

Our standard model also has a fold-out desk along with a side cabinet by the narrow, high window. The sliding ladder next to it provides convenient access to the mezzanine overlooking the stars.

In harmony with nature

The architecture of PURA house blended perfectly with the surrounding landscape, generously framing nature through huge windows. The sloping roof, along with the dark wood facade, continue the line of sloping roofs of neighboring houses and the hillsides.

Our dream was to build a house that heals the body and mind. According to its inhabitants, the goal has been achieved.

Discover our houses. REDUKT PURA.

"Hello! I'm looking for a tiny house on wheels. I really like your houses, especially REDUKT PURA.”

This is how our acquaintance with our German client, a landscape designer, began. She was looking for a tranquil recreational accommodation on a plot between water and forest - by the Teltow Canal in Berlin-Wannsee. After three months REDUKT PURA house has moved west, completely ready to welcome its owners.

The client's first choice turned out to be a success. She wanted to have a house that, despite its small size, would allow for a comfortable stay not only for the couple, but also for their family of four.

The biggest advantage of PURA model is a clever solution that increases the height of the mezzanine while providing a fully functional space on the ground floor. The lowered mezzanine, easily accessible by stairs, allows two people to sleep comfortably, to read (we also designed a bookcase there), to relax and... to breathe deeply. You can spend a "night under the stars" in comfortable sheltered conditions there, thanks to the roof window located directly above your head.

Double entrance doors completely open the living area to the vast terrace and greenery around the house. Smaller windows - looking at each other on both sides of the living room - provide access to the sunlight at any time of the day and a natural air flow.
A soaring gable roof adds splendor, doubling the feeling of interior space, often higher than the height of our standard apartments. Its dynamic form is finished with black  metal sheets, matching the darkened spruce façade. This dark colors composition blends the house with the surrounding nature, in the play of lights and shadows of tree leaves.

The heart of this house is a wide corner sofa - from which you can admire the views outside. It plays a triple role: a comfortable lounge furniture, a spacious storage compartment and when unfolded - an additional sleeping space for two people. In the living area there is also a fully equipped kitchen with a wide laminate worktop, sink, two-burner stove, fridge, dishwasher and many cabinets, drawers and shelves. It has everything that you need to enjoy cooking with your loved ones. An extension of this zone is a foldable table that you can place in front of the sofa or on the terrace. Next to the entrance door there is an all-in-one-piece wardrobe. It has a special shoe compartment and a practical hanger for outerwear on one side and a small work desk on the other.

The technical room (a key for off-grid houses, here serves also as a laundry room) is located under the mezzanine. There is an additional wardrobe allowing for a comfortable long-term stay. The comfort is complemented by infrared floor heating and air conditioning, which ensures year-round comfort due to heating and cooling.

The bathroom area is separated from the living space by a lightweight sliding door made of the same poplar plywood that was used to finish the walls. Despite its small size, the bathroom is equipped with a full-size shower, a washbasin with a cabinet and a toilet with a sewage connection. When entering the bathroom, we are greeted by the view of greenery framed by a window placed above the sink.

Relaxing with a book on a spacious sofa, eating at a fold-out table designed by us, working, singing in the shower, sleeping with the moonlight on your face, you won't believe that 6.6 x 2.5 meters was enough to ensure the comfort of this house.

The functionality of tiny houses goes beyond the role of a small flat or a private office. Small apartments on wheels successfully work as micro hotels, located in picturesque but not obvious locations. Their popularization was significantly influenced by the growing trend of the need to escape from the city, disconnect and meet natural surroundings. More and more people appreciate the time to rest and recharge batteries in close contact with nature, far from the noise of the city.

So how to take advantage of this trend in a business based on tiny houses?

Adapting a tiny house for your own hotel business can be done on any scale - from a single apartment to a network of houses for rent. The advantage of prefabricated tiny houses among other creative hotel investments is that they can be placed in unobvious locations, not yet considered for hotels, or even on rented plots. The new business model of tiny houses on wheels is based on three-way benefits. The beneficiaries are:

  • the owner of the house,

  • the owner of the plot from whom the land is leased

  • and guests of the micro hotel.

Advantages of TH in hotel business

The hotel business based on tiny houses has many other advantages. One of them is the wide range of possibilities of adapting such a house to individual requirements of the investor as well as conditions of the location. A small apartment on wheels can stand, for example, on a private recreational land. The plot does not have to belong to the owner of the micro hotel - it can be a rented plot, even temporarily. The house can be transported on the trailer to another place after some time, also one that does not have access to utilities. Mobile houses, thanks to the off-grid package, can be autonomous objects located even in hard-to-reach locations.

Short time of investment

Another feature of the discussed hotel business is the possibility of shortening the investment process to a minimum. The advantage of prefabricated mobile houses is the short time of their implementation from the design to the finished apartment. After adjusting to the investor’s preferences and the conditions of the terrain, a fully equipped and ready-to-rent house is delivered to the customer within 2-3 months. This allows for shortening the financing process and a relatively quick return on investment.

Remote management of a micro hotel

In addition, it is possible to equip the house for rent with smart devices, which allows, among other advantages, for remote management. Thanks to smart devices, you can have remote access to advanced information on electricity resources from photovoltaic panels, water level in the tank or gas. Both you and your clients using a dedicated mobile app, have control of locking and unlocking the apartment doors. And to increase the user's comfort, it is possible to modify the heating and lighting settings of the house on an ongoing basis, depending on the changing needs.

Year-round rental business

Mobile houses for rent are an option for passive income all year round. The use of the winter package allows you to transform a summer house into an all-year house. Thanks to this, your micro hotel can be rented even in winter. The off-grid package with dedicated systems installed in REDUKT houses works well at any time of the year.

An idea for a tiny house for a family with kids

In mid-2021, we built and delivered tiny house to a family with two young kids. It is an individual design, it has a number of solutions dedicated to the needs of this family.

The living area is open to both sides of the house and the plot on which it stands. Large glass doors on both sides of the house allow not only residents to enter, but also let in the light and open the house to the beauty of the surrounding nature. Hear the sound of the sea waves...

The kids are really young, so we decide to provide their own, separated, easily accessible bedroom for them on level zero. It's a safe solution, they don't have to climb stairs to the loft. The adults sleep there. You can get on it via cleverly folding stairs - they not only save the space, but what is more when folded easily... no one will enter the loft without an invitation. In the loft, apart from a full-size sleeping area, there is also a table at which we have planned a place to work. The house also has a fairly large kitchenette and a fully functional bathroom, as well as many places and shelves for storing things.

The family attaches great importance to health and responsibility for the environment. That is why the house is made of natural and organic materials. The walls of the house are insulated with sheep wool, which, apart from great insulation properties, also influences the indoor climate by regulating the humidity. The façade is decorated with thermized and oiled pine boards, and the roof is made of galvanized metal sheets. Together, they will age beautifully.

The house is prepared to off-grid living. It has been equipped with a solar installation to generate electricity, a gas installation and a compost toilet. It is heated by a beautiful wood burning stove made in painting also on individual order.

The whole design is very redukt-styled, simple in form, maybe even minimalist, without distractions, allowing you to relax and focus on the family and the surrounding nature.
